I’ve Moved to a New Website …

… and have a launched a podcast!!!

My husband and I have made some pretty BIG decisions since I started this website.

Those decisions were the result of our extreme frustration with our ever-changing (for the worse) jobs and a loathing of still being stuck in a corporate rut.

We decided we weren’t waiting anymore.

Not waiting to pay off every single penny of our debt. Not waiting until we have the money to pay for a Tiny House with cash. Not waiting until we have enough money in savings to last us for a year or two so we can feel some sense of security when we quit our jobs.

We would have been waiting for the rest of our lives … literally.

We’ve learned through previous experiences that there is never a perfect time. There is never enough money. There is a never a good enough reason to wait when it comes to chasing your dreams.

So, we started an online business, we’ve gotten rid of 90% of our belongings, sold home, quit our jobs, and are traveling the United States in our RV.

I know I’ve written a post about why we don’t just get an RV and it did cross my mind for a second that I could delete the post and only very few people would ever really know. But that’s not me. I’m not a liar. I love honesty and transparency. I also change my mind … a lot.

So, the post is staying and basically the only explanation I can give you is that when we attended the Tiny House Jamboree in Colorado Springs, CO in August 2015, it was the first time my husband had ever seen real  mountains and it was the first time I had been back to them since I lived in Montana for a few months in 2008.

The scenery and the event changed us. It fueled our desire for a life of freedom. It made us more determined … and more impatient.

We knew we couldn’t wait any longer and the only way we could afford to do it would be buying a used RV.

So, now is the time I thank you for visiting this site and invite you to check out my new podcast (and website).

It’s called Living Unconventionally and is all about people who are doing just that.

They’ve ditched their desks and are now chasing their passions all over the globe. We discuss their world travels and how they can afford to do it.

I’m also using the podcast to chronicle our new journey and adventure so be sure to stop by and check it out!
